The New Core Competencies

We now categorize candidates based on three tiers of digital fluency:

1. The Interface Navigator

This is now the baseline. Can the associate log into a system using MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication)? Can they navigate a touch-screen interface to clock in and out? Can they read and respond to email alerts?

2. The Data Validator

These associates understand the importance of the data they are inputting. They know that typing "10" instead of "100" wreaks havoc on the supply chain. They have basic Excel skills and can spot anomalies in inventory reports.

3. The Hardware Troubleshooter

The most valuable tier. These are the workers who, when a printer jams, don't just stand around waiting for IT. They open the tray, clear the jam, reset the IP, and get back to work. We call these "Force Multipliers."

Hiring for Hybrid

So how do you find these people? Standard resumes don't list "iPad proficiency."
